The command used to add an item to your inventory is called the AddItem command. It's very simple - all you need to do is write "AddItem" into your console and add the item code of an item after it to add that item to your inventory. An item code is just a number that represents an item. The item code for cloth is 33, and the item code for a leaf is 34, etc. You can find a list of all item codes here.
As an example, we'll spawn batteries. These have an item code of 36. The command to add these to your inventory would be:

To spawn an item on the ground (in front of your character), the SpawnItem command is used. This is exactly the same as the AddItem command, but you write "SpawnItem" into the console instead.
